Cycloscope
Mobile software for wireless real-time monitoring - connect, view, record, share...

Print E-mail

Cycloscopes is a suite of mobile apps for the visualisation and analysis of real-time data.

Cycloscope Physio captures heart and movement details during workout, sport and rehabilitation. A free Android version will be available in Q1 2012.

Connected to an external ECG hardware such as the Alive Heart Monitor, Cycloscopes Physio captures and displays the full detail of each cardio cycle in real-time.

ECGs provide significantly more information than standard heart rate monitors.

Our patented 'cyclogram' display shows a concise overview over the entire monitoring period. No need to constantly check the display, as the cyclogram won't miss a beat.

Whenever it suits you, a single glance reveals:

  • specific events
  • long-term trends
  • comparison with previous routines.

Oh, and of course you can

  • record and
  • share your data via email etc.

Seeking Collaboration with Hardware Manufacturers

We are seeking manufacturers of bluetooth-enabled sensor devices that produce live data streams. Our aim is to support a wide range of such devices in all fields of applications including

  • Physiological data such as ECGs, Pulse-Oximetry, EEGs
  • Mechanical vibrationand pressure monitoring
  • Geoscience, meteorological and climate data

If you are a hardware manufacturer who is interested in promoting own technology via such a multi-channel strategy, then please contact us.

ECG Monitoring Quick Start

Monitoring live electrocardiograms transmitted by the Alive Heart Monitor is set up quickly:

Setting up Cardio Monitoring (ECG & Rate)

  1. Connect the two electrodes to you chest
  2. Connect the small leads to the heart monitor
  3. Start the monitor (bluetooth transmission is enabled by default)
  4. Enable bluetooth on your phone
  5. Start Cycloscope Physio
  6. The display shows
    • cyclogram* with all ECG data, past to current
    • heart rate history and current value
    • current ECG waveform.

*the cyclogram will start to fill up like a progress bar, capturing events and trends.

Movement Monitoring Quick Start

Monitoring live movement (accelerometer) data transmitted by the Alive Heart Monitor is set up quickly:

Setting up Movement Monitoring

  1. Strap the monitor to the body part you want to monitor, e.g.
    • clip to shoes for walking and running
    • strap to arms for rowing
    • strap to shin or calf for cycling
  2. Start the monitor (bluetooth transmission is enabled by default)
  3. Enable bluetooth on your phone
  4. Start Cycloscope Physio
  5. The display shows
    • cyclogram* with all movement cycles, past to current
    • movement rate history and current value
    • current movement graph.

*the cyclogram will start to fill up like a progress bar, capturing events and trends.

Usage Scenarios
